It's cool to me (and probably nobody else) that this picture could have been taken 40 years ago. Oh sure, different location...this is Texas Roadhouse...4 decades ago it would have been the cafeteria at Twin Towers at Marshall. You see three roommates from the halcyon days. My buds RICK MAYNE and LEE BRYANT, with my strategically-shaved coconut head in between.
The definition of a good friendship is: no matter how long the gaps between in-person contact, the conversation can resume as if never paused. In this case, the rule is proven. We spent a couple of hours talking about the same things we talked about in college days: THE REDS, URIAH HEEP, & WOMEN.
