Brad Paisley had the corniest anniversary gift for his wife…

When he appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show for the final time as its iconic host wraps up her farewell season, Paisley reminisced on tons of stories over the years with Ellen DeGeneres. DeGeneres asked the country artist about his wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, whom he married around the same time he appeared on the first season of the daytime talk show.

To mark their 19th anniversary, Paisley revealed that he gifted his wife a corn stool.

Paisley said it’s “such a great anniversary gift,” and DeGeneres quipped, “(for) anyone wanting to end the marriage.”

The two of them reflected on other memories, including Paisley getting his drivers license as a teen, Paisley playing music in bars beginning at age 13, and more. The country artist also shared a heartwarming reflection of the early days of The Ellen DeGeneres Show:

“I remember — first of all, I was scared you were gonna make me dance. I remember the buzz. She changed TV, folks. She really did. I mean, the buzz was… It was the most fun thing you could do in the daytime.
“You're groundbreaking in so many ways.”
