Dierks Bentley offered a glimpse into the laid-back Sunday routines he shares with his family.

The country hitmaker recently caught up with CBS Sunday Morning. When asked how he usually spends his Sunday mornings, Bentley said he often spends time outside at state parks in Tennessee with his kids. He said in a clip shared on Instagram over the weekend:

“Well, our Sunday mornings back here in Nashville, most of the time, we drag the kids out to a state park nearby and make them go for a little hike in the morning. They never want to go, but about halfway through, they kind of get in the groove, and by the end, it’s always a very happy car ride back to the house. Sometimes we go to church. A lot of times we spend the rest of the day just hanging around the house. And certainly around the holidays, it’s all about family. Usually (we’re) back in Arizona or Colorado visiting family. …There’s nothing like a Sunday morning.”

Bentley recently hinted at his next chapter of music. The singer-songwriter posted a sneak peek of an unreleased anthem on Instagram, and noted to followers: “If you’re seeing this video, you’re hearing one of my new songs before anyone else.” Bentley didn’t confirm the title or announce the release date as of publication time. His latest full-length record was his 10th studio album, Gravel & Gold.
