Keith Urban is a pro when it comes to surprising his wife.
Nicole Kidman spoke about date nights with her husband in a recent interview with PEOPLE. She told the outlet in the interview that was published on Friday (December 20), “I like being asked out, which he still does. Seven nights ago we went to dinner in New York. We love Japanese food, but I'm open [to everything]. I like not knowing where he’s going to take me. Surprise me, baby.”
Urban and Kidman, both 57, got married in June 2006. The country star and the Oscar winner share two teen daughters together, Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban, 16, and Faith Margaret Kidman-Urban, turning 14 this month. Sunday Rose made a rare red carpet appearance with her mother over the summer at Omega House Paris 2024 in Paris, France. The family also attended the 49th AFI Life Achievement Award Gala Tribute at Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California. Kidman was honored that evening with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Urban said at that time, “Babygirl – I’m so proud of you.” In a previous tribute celebrating Kidman’s birthday, Urban hailed the award winning actress “my gorgeous, sexy, adventurous, curious, nature loving, owl spotting, artist, wife.”
