Jelly Roll turns heads when he arrived in Sydney on Tuesday (October 21) for his first headlining run in Australia.

Many quickly noticed the reigning iHeartRadio Music Awards Country Artist of the Year’s progress in his weight loss journey. PEOPLE notes that Jelly Roll once weighed 550 pounds. Now, he’s dropped around 200 pounds since setting new health and fitness goals.

Jelly Roll said he was “approaching the 200-pound mark” when he appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live earlier this year. He told host Jimmy Kimmel at that time that he’s “eating a lot of protein and vegetables and walking,” to reach his goals. He said when asked about his goal weight, “for the non-fluffy people in the world — I would give y’all some education, of course, here — to do all the fun stuff in life, you gotta be under 250. So my goal, I want to skydive, I want to ride a roller coaster, I want to ride a bull. I know it sounds crazy. I want to wrestle an alligator. I got a list of things that I want to do.”

Since that appearance, Jelly Roll has said he “can fit in Louis Vuitton now. Pray for my bank account.” He told his wife, Bunnie Xo, on her podcast, Dumb Blonde, that he wants to “be on the cover of Men’s Health by March of 2026.”

Jelly Roll is part of the star-studded lineup of the 2025 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour presented by Capital One. The tour includes stops in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth and more, with Sheeran, Alex WarrenBigXthaPlugConan GrayEd SheeranJessie MurphLaufeymgkMONSTA XMyles SmithNellyOlivia DeanRavyn LenaeReneé RappShinedownThe Kid LAROIZara Larsson and other artists taking the stage.
