Does your iPhone alarm not go off sometimes? No, it's not just you. People have been reporting this problem ever since iOS 17 was deployed. There's a specific issue, and there's a pretty easy fix. There's a feature called Attention Aware that uses iPhone’s TrueDepth camera to see if you're actually paying attention to your phone. But sometimes it gets that wrong and thinks you're looking at your screen when you're actually sound asleep. Since the phone thinks you're awake, it puts your alarm on silent. Here's how you undo that:

• Open “Settings”
• Go to “Accessibility”
• Tap “Face ID & Attention”
• Toggle off “Attention Aware Features”

Now you won't wake up late for work anymore!
