POV ride aboard Disney's new Tiana's Bayou Adventure

Tiana's Bayou Adventure is about ready to open at The Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. It will open to the public on June 28th. I was lucky enough to be brought in by Walt Disney World and got to check it out on a special "media day" the other day, and the ride is absolutely beautiful. It's Disney- so you KNOW they're going to pay attention to every detail- and they certainly did with this one! Based on the Disney movie The Princess And The Frog, Princess Tiana was inspired by famous New Orleans Chef Leah Chase. Disney consulted with the Chase family and also brought in artists from New Orleans to bring the attraction to life. They even enlisted New Orleans musicians to provide the soundtrack!

Tiana's Bayou Adventure takes place one year after The Princess And The Frog ends. The premise is that Tiana now has her dream restaurant on the Mississippi River and she is about to host a Mardi Gras Party, but she needs musicians. Riders are taken on a water ride through a colorful bayou to find the musicians, and at the end, there is a thrilling and refreshing 50 foot drop.

Here is my point of view ride-along on Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Check it out!
